A few years ago, something very scary happened to me… I was in the midst of writing my first book Tap into Miracles. I had just emerged from a difficult time in my life, probably more difficult than I was willing to admit, even to myself.

I woke up one morning with my ankles swollen. When I got up, I could barely stand up… The pain of putting my weight on the ankles was acute. I literally had to hold on to the wall to make it out of the bedroom.

I went to the doctors, all sorts of checks later and no-one could pin-point exactly what it was. They were inviting me down a bunch of possibilities.

All I knew was that I was in serious pain and walking had become something of a luxury. I would look at people walking in the street and think how lucky they were…

One of my core beliefs is that our bodies are self-correcting. So it was time to put my metaphysics training to use. I decided to go inwards for the answers.

I got down on my knees and prayed.

A Course in Miracles teaches us that any health issue originates in the mind. And that the error must be corrected there first in order for true healing to occur.

My book ended up including a chapter on Health as a result of this experience.

The power of your mind is infinite with possibilities and solutions… I have witnessed miraculous healing when there is a genuine willingness to understand the true cause of the dis-ease, and transform the fear into Love.

This is what I believe:
  • Our bodies are self-correcting/self-healing and that every answer we need is within us
  • The error begins in the mind, and so, in order to reach a sustainable cure, we must begin there
  • Fear is the main contributor to health issues. Fear and guilt.

Much has been written about the benefits of meditation. It’s been used successfully to cure illnesses that were deemed incurable.
