Supporting Your Immune System Naturally

7 Products that Naturally Support the Immune System

The most significant missing factor from all media reports so far is the impact that our mindset makes on our immune systems.

Last week, I wrote A Mindful Response to Current Events to help guide you from fear to faith.

This challenging moment requires the entire toolbox.

In today’s video, I’m sharing some of my favourite natural products that can offer extra support to you and your Loved ones in uncertain times.

Natural Support for Boosting Your Immune Systems

Dr Bach’s Rescue Remedy

natural support for uncertain times

Rescue remedy is a combination of flower essences created by Dr Edward Bach to help during emotionally demanding times. Add a few drops to water or directly on your tongue. It’s been around since the 1920s. It’s available at pharmacies and health food stores everywhere. I Love how natural it is. And how calming…

Ashwaghanda for natural support

Wild Nutrition include Ashwaghanda in their food grown daily multi-nutrient. You can also have it separately for natural support in these challenging times.

Immune enhancing and antimicrobial, Ashwaghanda increases resistance to infections. It has been called the King of Ayurvedic herbs and offers natural support for the immune system. It’s also highly effective in helping relieve stress and anxiety.

Faith in Nature

Lavender gentle natural disinfectant

When I lived in NYC, I had a friend send me Faith in Nature‘s lavender soap from London ! That’s how much I Love these products. I wash my hands A LOT, way before all this. It comes from when I worked with the little ones.

What I Love about these products is that they contain essences like lavender which are not only calming, but also natural disinfectants. So they clean without that drying feeling you sometimes get after washing. This, in turn, protects the skin keeping it strong to shield off germs.

Oscillococcinum to help prevent flu from the onset

Oscillococcinum natural flu preventative

Oscillo has been keeping me safe winter after winter for the last decade. It’s homeopathic, made by Boiron, and I actually discovered it at Wholefoods in NYC.  I take on the first whiff of anything resembling a flu and it seems to halt it in its tracks. I know what we’re dealing with this time around is unheard of… but the symptoms are still those of a flu. So I’m counting on Oscillo to save the day again 🌟

Thyme to naturally support your immune system

Thyme tea for supporting immune system

Thyme is stengthening and excellent for coughs whether from anxiety or infection. The leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals. And Thyme has one of the highest antioxidant levels of all herbs. Thyme tea will warm your system from the inside out. By adding some honey to it, you’ll enjoy a lovely healing cup of tea.

Floradix make a great selection of herbal teas like Thyme.

If you like Lebanese cuisine, get your zaatar via a man’ouché !

Turmeric Gold Chai Latte

Support your immune system with turmeric chai latte

Turmeric enhances immunity and can ward off infections including colds, sore throats, coughs and fevers.

Pukka make a delicious powder blend you can add to your favourite milk. I like it with almond milk. Cashew milk is nice too.

You boil the milk, add a couple of spoonfuls of the Turmeric Gold and some honey and you’re in for a total treat for yourself and your immune systems.

The Goddess Line

I discovered the Goddess Line at Jivamukti NYC. The Fragrance Oils are combinations of natural ingredients that together soothe, relax and more… Like magic drops landing on your skin. Lakshmi (Goddess of Abundance) and Durga (Goddess of Empowerment) are unisex fragrance blends !

Parvati represents perseverance and devotion. She’s my favourite of the oils and Goddesses 🌟

The Goddesses of yoga are divine and super empowering in their teachings.
